Amarone della Valpolicella

Grape variety: Corvina, Crovinone, Rondinella

Vineyard and production area: Western Valpolicella area, on soils of moranic origin and basaltic soils.

Training system: Veronese pergola and row training with guyot pruning. Manual grape harvesting.

Vinification and refinement: Three-month drying process in the drying room (fruttaio), followed by vinification in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. In oak barrels, with a subsequent six-month refinement in bottle.

ColorIntense red with garnet hues.
BouquetNotes of dried fruit, spices and tobacco. Aromas of preserved fruit, black cherry, cherry and vanilla.
TasteIntense, full-bodied and well-structured on the palate, with a long finish.
Food pairingsExcellent with red meats and game, perfect with aged cheeses and those with bold flavors.
